Instructional Design Process
ADDIE Model
To get the process started, we will have a kickoff meeting in which performance gaps, needs, reasons for the training, business goals and/or desired outcomes, and target audience are discussed. We will decide on a timeline and discuss the next steps for continued collaboration of all stakeholders involved.
Next, I will begin the design phase in which a design document will be drafted and submitted for review. Adult learning principles, company needs, target audience, and all things discussed at the kickoff meeting will be taken into consideration as I begin to plan the training. Upon approval, a script and Storyboard will follow. Communication and collaboration with SME's and other stakeholders throughout this process will be a priority to ensure a solid plan is in place before the course is developed.

"Effective Interviewing Strategies"
This design document is for an eLearning course that will help all members of the hiring team for the XTech Corporation to strengthen the effectiveness of their interviewing strategies. The company has noted that the hiring team needs a refresher in order to solidify a cohesive and consistent approach across the interview panel as they look to increase the quality and quantity of their hires this year. This course will take the interviewers on a journey through the eyes of the interviewee in an interactive and scenario-based experience.
